The accommodation is very new and modern and spacious. It has a pool outside and the beach is at the bottom of the garden. The house is walking distance to Hideaway Island, which has excellent bar/resort/snorkelling facilities. At the top of the driveway buses come around every five minutes (they are actually vans and about NZ$2!), to take you to Hideaway or into town which is about 10 minutes away. The house is right next door to the golf course, and the Saloon Bar is about 5 mins walk away (which has excellent food and atmosphere). There is also an awesome bar at the beach where you go to Hideaway (the best pizza's I've ever had). A short distance away there is also a horse-riding place where we did horse-riding along the beach and in the ocean. This property has everything at your doorstep, is modern, relaxing and excellent value for money. I loved it so much I'm coming back in September (which will be my 3rd visit to Vanuatu.  Jackie Had an amazing time at Mele beach. Went for lots of swims and walks on the beach which is so handy, and lounged around the pool. Went snorkeling up at hideaway island resort, which is a short walk away. Also taxis and buses regularly to town or other parts of the island, and a fantastic bar and restaurant with huge portions of delicious food a 2min walk away!
